 Deu 4:30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; KJV

בַּצַּר לְךָ וּמְצָאוּךָ כֹּל הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים וְשַׁבְתָּ עַד־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ וְשָׁמַעְתָּ בְּקֹלֹֽו׃

So now that you can see it let’s look at the first word.  The first word is made of three Hebrew letters beyt tsade resh.  These are the 2nd, the 18th and the 20 letters of the Hebrew alphabet the modern sound being btsr.

What does that mean?  It means a great deal at least to me.

The translators used the word root hear tsr to translate the word attaching the b as a prefix meaning in/inside.  What does the root word tsr mean?

 צַּר 6862,6863,6864,6865

 HTML Bible= צַּר  6862  adj. tsar or tsar {tsawr}; from ‘tsarar’ (6887); narrow; (as a noun) a tight place (usually figuratively, i.e. trouble); also a pebble (as in ‘tsor’ (6864)); (transitive) an opponent (as crowding):–adversary, afflicted(-tion), anguish, close, distress, enemy, flint, foe, narrow, small, sorrow, strait, tribulation, trouble.

 HTML Bible=6887 tsarar tsaw-rar’

 a primitive root; to cramp, literally or figuratively, transitive or intransitive (as follows):–adversary, (be in) afflict(-ion), beseige, bind (up), (be in, bring) distress, enemy, narrower, oppress, pangs, shut up, be in a strait (trouble), vex.

 6863 Tser tsare

 from ‘tsarar’ (6887); rock; Tser, a place in Palestine:–Zer.

6864 tsor tsore

 from ‘tsuwr’ (6696); a stone (as if pressed hard or to a point); (by implication, of use) a knife:–flint, sharp stone.

6865 Tsor tsore

 or Tsowr {tsore}; the same as ‘tsor’ (6864); a rock; Tsor, a place in Palestine:–Tyre, Tyrus.

Literally or figuratively it means trouble by definition you could see where we get the words sore and sorrow.

Let’s look at a few other words same using same letters;

 בצר btsr 1219,1220,1221,1222

 1219 batsar baw-tsar’

 a primitive root; to clip off; specifically (as denominative from ‘batsiyr’ (1210)) to gather grapes; also to be isolated (i.e. inaccessible by height or fortification):–cut off, (de-)fenced, fortify, (grape) gather(-er), mighty things, restrain, strong, wall (up), withhold.

 1220 betser beh’-tser

 from ‘batsar’ (1219); strictly a clipping, i.e. gold (as dug out):–gold defence.

1221 Betser beh’-tser

 the same as ‘betser’ (1220), an inaccessible spot; Betser, a place in Palestine; also an Israelite:–Bezer.

1222 btsar bets-ar’

 another form for ‘betser’ (1220); gold:–gold.

The meaning of the letter b= Literally:a house, a tent floorplan, in/inside, family, temple, dwelling.  Symbolically: house of God, word of God, division, image, reflection. Fig.: house, tent

The meaning of the letter ts= Literally: a man on his side, or side and fish hook. Symbolically: righteousness, go forth, command,wait,chase, snare, hunt. Fig.: man on side (representing need)

The meaning of the letter r= Literally: head, chief, first, top, beginning. Symbolically: first, chief, man (person), health, Great Physician. Fig.: Head of man

Notice that without the “r” at the end the word becomes bts which is 1206 meaning mire, clay mud this word only used one time in Jer. 38:22.

Turn the word around without the b;

7518,(used 1x)7519,(used 1x) 7533(used 19x)
