Now, for the rest of His-Story, turn again to the Bible.  Job’s name means to “howl or brawl”.  He was the was the son of Issachar, meaning “there is hire”.  Issachar was one of the twelve sons of Jacob.  Jacob was the father of the twelve tribes of Israel.  Jacob’s name means “deceiver”.  His name was later changed by God, to Israel.  Israel means “contender”.  What does all this mean?

This is the way I see it.  Jacob deceieved and contended with God.  He brought forth twelve sons.  One of the sons realized “there is hire” so he looked for a job.  God gave him a “Job”.  Howling and bawling he came into this world. What man would name his son “cry baby”?  Well, it seems that Issachar did not.  The Job we know Issachar wanted.  He called Jasshub.  Jasshub means “he will return with a reward”.  This information was dug from the following verses:

1Ch 7:1 Now the sons of Issachar were, Tola, and Puah, Jashub, and Shimron, four.

Gen 46:13 And the sons of Issachar; Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.

Let’s now begin to look into these names, for a key to what it all means.  I have compliled a Hebrew word study on all the names using “Strongs Hebrew and Greek Dictionary”.  Check out the link and ponder it all while I put it all together.
