A Marriage and A Message

1) The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah and in the days of Jeroboam, the son of Joash king of Israel.

Salvation, born out of a well in the days of praise. The cry of praise sounds and the Word comes.

Praise Him: He is my Strength. He has shown Himself perfect. He is mighty! Praise comes forth, though in the midst evil attempts to grasp.  Praise is about sacrifice not feeling.  Praise is not meant to be understood nor grasped.  Praise is offered.

The Word comes to one chosen from the soldiers of God.  A multiplied people, enriched by Jehovah’s gifts.

1.  The Command

A. The beginning

1) Go:    An action

2) Take: A Purpose

2) The beginning of the Word of the LORD by Hosea, And the LORD said to Hosea, Go take a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms for the land hath committed great whoredom departing from the LORD.

The Word always requires an action.  Without action the Word never becomes alive.  The Word always has a purpose.  Beginning of the Word coming by Salvation is Go! Take!  So the Word becomes flesh, breathing in the heart of a man, one man chosen for the marriage made in heaven.

Go seeking a wife.  The Word came by Salvation but it was going to seek a wife.  The Word requires a uniting and intimate reunion. Take an unclean, dirty, unfaithful wife.  The Word came as a command to walk out as an example the very heart of God.  The Word comes, people judge on the outward appearance.  When the people have judged the very words of their mouth becomes their own judgement.  Unclean, dirty, unfaithful they cry and the purpose is made known.  The purpose of it all was to reveal the illicit immoral acts of the very people of God.  They departed from the Provider and worshiped the provision.  Go the Lord said take a wife join yourself with unfaithfulness and see the fruit of your labor.

3) So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, which conceived and bare a son.

The Word by Salvation unites with one of Perfection.  Chosen like a burning coal. Blackened by the land yet burning with fires of passion.  Coming from two and becoming one.  A Harlot called Perfection.  Her name was her destiny.  The woman, the wife to be, the bride of Salvation was unclean living unfaithfully.  Complete yet never committed.  She is taken.
Chosen when all she ever did was sold herself out.

Salvation was obedient to the Word.  Following the LORD, obedience to the Word always brings conception.  Hear the words: He went and took.  She the daughter conceived and bore.   Seeds of history are sown.

4) And the LORD said unto him, call his name Jezreel, for yet a little while and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.

Battlefields are born, giving birth to wars brought forth in bloodshed.  Sin requires payment.  Blood is the payment for wrongs.  Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.  God sowed a garden.  Man sinned.  The creature marred the creation and the Creator paid the price.  God paid for the wrongs committed in the place God himself sowed.  Payment made by one, Jehovah’s own, His only begotten son.  The creature was restored by that one act.  Creation awaits, groaning in anticipation for it’s one day of restoration and the beginning will begin at Jezreel.  Seedtime and harvest remain and God is ever sowing.

5) And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in thevalley of
Shall come to pass. When God speaks weapons of warfare of broken, in the valley where God Sows.  It shall come to pass, in a time to come, set aside for his people, the dearly departed.         6) And she conceived again, and bare a daughter.  And God said unto him call her name Lo-ruhamah for I will no more have mercy upon the house of
Israel but I will utterly take them away.

No more embrace, no more comfort, no more compassion.  Trusting in your own strengths or better said believe that you possess strength leaves you relying on yourself for comfort.  Call the daughter literally “not having obtained mercy (racham)”.  Perfection had given life to No love.  Apart from God we cannot hear nor see.  We are left deaf and blind to stumble.

7) But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God and will not save them by bow nor by sword nor by battle, by horses nor by horsemen.

Yet God has promised and He is Faithful and True, He will never leave us nor forsake us.  But it will not be by might nor power, but by the Holy Spirit that seals us as His Bride.  Will He find you waiting when He returns with a shout!  The table is set for the Marriage Feast…..Even So Come…..What a Message

The house of Praise, Salvation coming through Praise.  Salvation perfected by Praise.  Deliverance not by might nor power.
